Vintage Swiss Top Timer Chronograph Splendor Watch Reverse Panda 70s

This is a beautiful vintage chronograph, I suspect from the late 60s or the 70s. Face and subdials are in classic reverse panda style. Case is rather large for the period (34mm not including crown), 17mm lug to lug. Case back is marked base metal. The watch was originally gold plated, hence the spaces around the case back and around the dial look a little dirty, but that's only the remains of the gold plating. The lower subdial is the second hand for the watch as the third hand on the large dial is the chronograph function. The movement is mechanical (hand-winding). I have owned the watch for over 5 years and have not had it serviced, although when timed it keeps time accurately (to within 2 minutes per 24 hours).

Very occasionally there is a small issue when starting it (if it had not been used for a long time), but it never stops when wound so it will not lose time during the day. I cannot make any guarantees on any of this because like I said it has not been serviced in at least 5 years so please treat this listing as SPARES or REPAIR (no guarantee of functionality).

I do not sell watches professionally so I can't diagnose faults or check movements. As far as faults go there are some scratches on the glass so it might need replacing, there is wear where the gold plating was polished off, and a tiny red hand from the right side subdial is missing (it has been in this condition since I first bought it). I have put it on a vintage NOS Hirsch black leather strap (I replaced the strap in August and have only worn the watch a handful of times since then so it is in excellent condition). I'm sad to see it go but I just bought a Breitling so it would just sit in the watch box...
