Vintage Hamilton Victor Electric Watch (For Parts or Restoration)
I've decided to part with a few of the watches from my collection, some of which are running and some for parts/restoration. Here for your consideration is a vintage Hamilton Electric Victor in very nice shape, though it is not running. The Victor was introduced to the public in 1957 and was one of the first electric watches to be introduced to the market. There were approximately 10,200 of these watches produced and this one is a fine example of one of those remaining today. The watch has the Hamilton 500 movement, which appears intact. The crystal is nice with no cracks, but does have a few scratches, though NOS Hamilton crystals can still be found today. The dial is original and clean showing just a bit of age.
Naturally, a watch of this age is not perfect but it displays much more nicely in person than is seen in the pictures. Please see the pictures to admire this beauty as they are part of my description! Sorry for the poor lighting. As far as I know, this watch is correct or so it appears, though I do not know any history on the watch, including service history, so I cannot guarantee this. I'm sorry to include this statement, but too many buyers expect to receive a 60+ year old watch that looks and runs like a new one.
Thank you for looking and please check out my other auctions as I will be listing more watches over the next couple of weeks. I will consider any reasonable offers for this piece of history!
