Vintage EverSwiss Aqua Sport Diver Watch withRonda 7115 Mvmt, Runs FOR PARTS/REPAIR

FOR PARTS/REPAIR - The Ronda 7115 manual wind movement runs only when the watch is lying on a flat surface, gaining about 6 minutes by the end of its approximate 36 hour power reserve period. When the watch is held at any angle the seconds hand tends to stop. Given this and considering the movement's unknown service history a complete overhaul is required. This vintage 1970/80's EverSwiss Aqua Sport has a black "SWISS MADE T" signed dial that is in lovely but not perfect condition as it shows light wear. Majority of the imperfections seen are on the crystal, not the dial. The lume, which remains fully intact and emits a quick burst glow after being exposed to bright light, has aged gracefully. The black bezel, which rotates bidirectionally a bit stiffly, presents nicely. The chrome-plated case shows honest wear and minor signs of brassing. The outer edge of the case back is stamped "STAINLESS STEEL BACK SHOCKPROOF WATERPROOF SWISS MADE UNBREAKABLE MAINSPRING" with "AQUA SPORT" stamped in the center. The inside of the case back is stamped WATCH IMP CORP. The crystal shows scratching and dust/debris on its underbelly.
This movement does not have a semi-quickset date function. Non-screwdown crown 22 full revolutions the movement gained about 6 minutes by the end of its approximate 36 hour power reserve period. While the crown winds buttery smooth it turns with some tension when setting the time. At a minimum a complete overhaul is required. This watch measures approximately 34 mm excluding the crown, approximately 38 mm including the crown and approximately 18.5 mm between the lugs.
Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 6.5 mm. Including the crystal thickness measures approximately 9 mm.
As such there are no warranties, express or implied, attached with the sale of this watch. Vintage means old and while my personal belief is that old-school means better quality and workmanship, things can and do go wrong from time to time. For this watch that time is now.
Any servicing costs going forward are your responsibility. And please study the 24 high magnification pictures carefully as they are part of the description and serve as an accurate representation of the condition of this watch.
