Parts / Repair Wyler Vintage 1940s Black Dial Clamshell Tank Wrist Watch. The band is dried out and brittle, it should be replaced. I did not open the back, it is an early waterproof design that involves removing multiple tiny screws and sliding the bezel off, the crown may need to be removed as well.

The case is in pretty rough condition. Hands: all are present, lume is falling apart, can be set.

Dial: dirty, lume does not glow, lume is degraded, lettering is faded. Case: base metal wearing through the plating.

Watch Band: present, damaged, dried out. Case Width: 22.4 mm wide without crown.

Lug to Lug Length: 40.8 mm. Case Thickness: 8.6 mm thick.
