Antique 1800's Elgin National Watch Co. Pocket Watch gorgeous case Parts/Repair

This antique 1800's Elgin National Watch Co. Pocket Watch features a stunning filigreed silver case with Arabic numerals on the dial. This vintage timepiece, made in the United States, has a lever escapement type and a mechanical manual movement.

With its open face closure and screwback caseback, this pocket watch exudes a classic and casual style perfect for any unisex adult collector or enthusiast. Ideal for those looking to add a piece of history to their collection or to repair and restore a vintage timepiece. This watch has been in our family for at least three generations, but I have no service records. There are no scratches on the glass front, and no dents or obvious breaks in its lovely case.

The white face appears to have some staining/fading, but the numbers are large and readable. Inside the case says Philadelphia Watch Cast Co/Victory 4917266. The watch itself says it was originally warranted for 10 years with a serial/model number of 25611015.

It weighs 2.1 oz and 1 3/4 inches in diameter. We do not have a local watch repair shop that services antique/vintage watches.

Given how carefully this watch was kept over the years, and the fact that there are no obvious missing pieces or visibly broken parts, I would like to think someone with some knowledge of these beautiful timepieces could get it running again.
