One watch seems to function, however I'm not good with the mechanical side of watches so I cannot be certain it's 100% working. The other watches do not work, the gears for winding them up seem to have jammed. The watches with straps have backs, the faces do not. The gold tone watch is battery operated. It seems to be working as of right this moment looking at it, is beautiful but will need a glass replacement, the hand did move when a battery was inserted.

The other waltham watch with the gold/silver tone strap also appears to work, it's ticking right now. Lots of cosmetic issues and such. Lovely looking watches even with the damages.
