Incomplete vintage 1974 Bulova Caravelle Sea Hunter 666 "Devil Diver".. Full stainless steel case, classic hand wound Divers Watch. 666' Dive Depth rated Water Resistant (at the time)! Original Dial and Hands (missing the second hand) in "decent" condition.
Appears to be missing the Second Hand, the Stem, the Crown, a winding gear, the correct bezel insert the rotating bezel is correct but a replacement insert was cut down and (poorly) fit sometime ago, the movement hold down spring, and the retention spring for the rotating bezel. The Hairspring and Balance appear to be fine...And it seems to wind. The crystal appears to be serviceable...

A sub brand of the Bulova watch company, Caravelle was introduced in 1962 to provide a wide range of affordable and stylish watches, with a build quality typical of the Bulova name. The great marketing and buil quality, value for the dollar, and proven design pushed Caravelle to the front of the market. This era also marked the beginning of the golden age of Sport Diver watches.
The demand for professional and light divers exploded, and to satisfy watch enthusiasts everywhere, nearly every major brand was ready to bring their own designs to market. Bulovas Snorkel model was released in 1961. The conversion to feet came out to 666 and forever branded these diver models with its devilish nickname. In 1966, Caravelle got its own Devil Diver...
The Sea Hunter model, taking design cues from Rolexs Explorer 1016, it has become an accidental icon in sport diver history. In recent years, values have skyrocketed as collectors have added clean examples to their line ups, the interest in these Caravelle classics has led to issues of short supply. The case is a comfortable 36.5mm with crisp corners and sharply tapered lugs. The movement is a 17 jewel version of Caravelles 11DP hand winder. A reliable and robust calibre widely used across the Caravelle brand.
