1966 Caravelle Seahunter N0 Devil Diver 666 Watch Running But Unoriginal Parts

I'm a collector and have owned this for several years. FULL DISCLOSURE: Right off the bat, the bezel is loose. For whatever reason, I cannot press fit the bezel completely on. It is currently somewhat attached, but I wouldn't trust it for long wear sessions.

Therefore, my watchmaker sourced authentic Caravelle dauphine hands and an economy version 7j 11DP movement. I have the original baton hour and minute hand (both flaking lume) and original but unreliable 17j 11DP movement which I will send along with the package. In summary, the current running build is all original, Caravelle parts from the late 60s/early 70s.

But to restore this to original Seahunter N0 build as designated by the caseback, the movement and hands need to be repaired. CURRENT CONDITION: The current watch build runs and keeps time. The bezel is not attached. I fully wound the watch and timed it over 24 and 48 hour periods. It is running roughly +40 seconds over that time period.

It is a manual wind watch and will require periodic turns of the crown to continue running. The economy 7jewel Japanese Caravelle 11DP movement is in beautiful cosmetic condition.

The most attractive bit of the watch is the condition. The dial is still the stunning matte black texture with evenly aged lume. The acrylic crystal has been polished, and has little dents and divots, but it is clear.

The stainless steel case has not been polished, and shows a bit of brushed texture on the top and polished texture on the sides. Original signed crown, and caseback are here as well.

The crown does have a dent and sits ever so slightly off center when winding. It does not affect its functionality though. It is in beautiful condition for its age (late 1960's). When able to push the bezel on, it will not turn. Beautiful condition from a classic style, which could use some repair to the bezel to restore it to its original status.
